Operator Quickstart

Get operational visibility and control over agent activity in four steps.

Prerequisites

  • Access to a Veridex Developer Platform workspace (as operator)
  • At least one registered app with active sessions

Step 1: Review Spend Posture

Navigate to Operate → Overview to see:

  • Active sessions and their remaining spend allowances
  • Recent approvals and their outcomes
  • Open incidents by severity
  • Session health indicators

This gives you an immediate read on your workspace's risk posture.

Step 2: Configure Policies

Navigate to Operate → Policies and set your governance rules:

PolicyDefaultRecommended
Per-transaction limit$500Set based on expected transaction sizes
Daily spending limit$5,000Set based on operational budget
Approval threshold$1,000Actions above this require manual approval
Chain restrictionsAll chainsRestrict to chains you operate on
Token whitelistAll tokensRestrict to assets you manage

Policies apply immediately to all future actions.

Step 3: Approve or Reject

When an agent or session exceeds a policy threshold, the action appears in Operate → Approvals.

For each pending approval, you see:

  • What the agent wants to do
  • How much it wants to spend
  • Which policy triggered the approval
  • The risk score

Approve to let the action execute. Reject to block it. If you don't decide before the TTL expires, the action is auto-expired.

Step 4: Inspect a Trace

Navigate to Operate → Traces and select any execution to see:

  • The agent's reasoning (what it decided and why)
  • The proposed action (transfer, swap, etc.)
  • Policy verdicts (which rules passed, which blocked)
  • Signatures and transaction hash
  • Duration and risk score

This is your audit trail — every action has a complete provenance chain.

Ongoing Operations

  • Incidents: Review policy violations in Operate → Incidents, organized by severity
  • Evidence: Export audit bundles from Operate → Evidence Export for compliance review
  • Activity: Cross-reference with Build → Activity for the full event stream
